📦 RETURN PERIOD

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any eligible item for a refund or exchange.


✅ ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • ✓ Unused and in original condition
  • ✓ In original packaging with all tags/labels attached
  • ✓ Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
  • ✓ Returned within 30 days of delivery date
  • ✓ Not on the list of non-returnable items (see below)


🚫 NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used software/digital products
  • Items damaged by misuse, neglect, or accidents
  • Products without original packaging
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products


📮 HOW TO START A RETURN

Step 1: Contact us at info@technookgear.com with:
  • Your order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if item is damaged/defective)

Step 2: We'll email you return instructions and a return authorization

Step 3: Pack the item securely in its original packaging

💰 SHIPPING COSTS

Standard Returns:
  • Customer pays return shipping costs
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Defective/Damaged Items:
  • We'll provide a prepaid return label
  • Full refund including original shipping

Wrong Item Shipped:
  • We'll cover all return shipping costs
  • Full refund or replacement sent immediately


⏱️ REFUND PROCESSING

Inspection: Once we receive your return, we'll inspect it within 2-3 business days

Approval: We'll email you within 24 hours to approve or reject your refund

Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method

Timing:
  • Credit cards: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
  • EFT/Bank transfer: 3-5 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days


🔄 EXCHANGES

We offer exchanges for:
  • Defective items
  • Damaged items
  • Wrong items shipped

How to Exchange:
  1. Email info@technookgear.com with your order number
  2. We'll send a replacement immediately (if in stock)
  3. Return the original item using our prepaid label

Note: We don't exchange for different sizes/colors - please place a new order instead.


⚠️ LATE OR MISSING RETURNS

If you haven't received your refund after 7 business days:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company (processing delays happen)
  3. Contact your bank (some delays occur)
  4. Email us at info@technookgear.com if still not resolved


📦 PARTIAL REFUNDS

Partial refunds may be granted for:
  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Items missing accessories or components

The refund amount will be determined at our discretion based on the item's condition.


🎁 GIFTS

If you received a gift:
  • The gift giver must initiate the return
  • Refunds go to the original purchaser
  • Store credit may be offered to gift recipients (case-by-case)

Returning a gift:
  • Include the gift receipt

🌍 INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

For orders shipped outside South Africa:

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping and customs duties are non-refundable
  • Returns must include customs declaration forms
  • Allow 10-14 business days for international refund processing
